1. Refund and Rescheduling Requests:

  1. a. Voluntary Withdrawals by Students:
    • Prior to the start of the training program: Students who voluntarily withdraw at least three (3) days before the scheduled start of the training program are eligible for a full refund of tuition and fees, minus any non-refundable administrative fees.

    • After the start of the training program: No refunds will be issued for voluntary withdrawals after the training program has commenced.

  2. b. Refund Application Process:
    • Students seeking a refund must submit a written refund application to the school administration. The application must include the reason for the request and any supporting documentation.

2. Non-Refundable Administrative Fees

  • Certain administrative fees associated with enrollment are non-refundable and total $950. These fees cover the costs of processing applications, managing paperwork, providing materials, and other administrative tasks.

3. One-Time Rescheduling:

  1. a. Notice Requirement:
    • Students who wish to reschedule their enrollment for a future class must provide at least three (3) days' notice before the scheduled start of the original class. This must be in writing.

  2. b. Rescheduling Conditions:
    • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability in the desired future class.

    • Students are allowed one (1) rescheduling opportunity. If a student needs to reschedule a second time, they may be subject to additional fees or conditions.

4. Involuntary Withdrawals:
In cases of documented medical emergencies or other extraordinary circumstances, or if you're not admitted to class because of tardiness, the school may consider requests for refunds or rescheduling on a case-by-case basis. We also reserve the right to not serve customers that are abusive to staff.

5. Non-Refundable Administrative Fees:
Certain administrative fees associated with enrollment and processing are non-refundable. These fees may include but are not limited to application fees, processing fees, and materials fees. Details of non-refundable fees will be communicated to students during the enrollment process.

    • Students who are late for any class will not be eligible for a refund, and they may not graduate from the program.

  4. d. Communication:
    • Students are responsible for managing their time effectively to ensure punctuality.

    • In cases of unavoidable emergencies or circumstances, students must communicate in advance with the school administration to discuss the situation and potential solutions

  5. e. Policy Enforcement:
    • This policy will be strictly enforced to maintain the integrity of the training program and ensure that all students receive the full benefit of the scheduled instruction time.

8. Acceptance of COVID-19 Illness as Grounds for Rescheduling:

  1. a. Notification Requirement:
    • Students must notify the school as soon as possible if they test positive for COVID-19 and are unable to attend scheduled classes.

  2. b. Proof of COVID-19 Test:
    • Students must provide valid documentation of a positive COVID-19 test as part of their notification.

  3. c. Rescheduling Procedure:
    • Upon notification and verification of the positive COVID-19 test, the school will work with the affected student to reschedule their enrollment in a future class.

  4. d. No Additional Fee:
    • Students who are rescheduling due to COVID-19 illness will not incur any additional fees for the rescheduling process.

  5. e. Documentation Retention:
    • The school will retain records of COVID-19-related rescheduling requests for internal documentation purposes.

This amendment is intended to accommodate students facing health challenges related to COVID-19 while ensuring the safety and well-being of the entire CDL school community.
